Your Mission Our onsite Café is open to our staff weekdays from 8:30–4pm and is an integral factor that contributes to the light and fun atmosphere of PostcardMania. We have a Chef and a Barista, and the Café offers a variety of food and sandwiches, including healthy options.We are looking for a supervisor to manage the area who loves and has experience cooking, and who is also looking for an opportunity to grow. This role includes creating the weekly menus, working on budgeting and expenses for the cafe, gathering feedback from our staff on areas to improve, and essentially creating the area in which ever way you want.No Supervisor Experience Required!  We’re looking for someone who has a passion for food, hospitality, and is competent in a kitchen setting!Work Hours Monday – Friday 8am-4pm   Compensation Based on experienceSpecific Responsibilities Include ·         Managing the Chef, the Barista and the overall Cafe. ·         Creating the weekly menus. ·         Gathering feedback from our staff and improving cooking quality. ·         Making sure café is creating yummy dishes for our employees to enjoy, that are as healthy as possible. ·         Catering to healthy eaters ·         Food preparation and serving food during lunch ·         Grocery shopping for café ingredients ·         Take employees orders (in person and via POS system) ·         Cashiering ·         Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation for the Café ·         Suggesting and implementing any improvements

Requirements

·         Ability to make AMAZING meals: soups, salads, sandwiches, and various hot meals for our staff to enjoy·         LOVES to create with food or baked goods! ·         Interest in creating recipes and meals ·         Experience in food preparation ·         Experience using an espresso machine and making great coffees ·         Assisting with food prep ·         Can operate a cash register ·         Loves to work with other people and serve them with a smile! ·         Very easy to get along with ·         Loves to run oneself
